Benjamin G. Dusing

Born and raised in Covington, Kentucky, Benjamin Dusing attended Covington Catholic High School. He then went on to study International Economics and Russian Language at Georgetown University. After completing a Bachelor of Science in 1997, Benjamin attended the University of Kentucky’s College of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Kentucky Law Journal.

After receiving his Juris Doctor from UK, he was an Assistant United States Attorney from 2005-2010, representing the United States in prosecuting a spectrum of federal crimes, first in the Southern District of Ohio and then in the Eastern District of Kentucky. In October of 2010, Benjamin was made partner of Baker & Hostetler LLP, where he led their White Collar, Corporate Investigations, and Compliance practice. Some of his significant representations at Baker & Hostetler included environmental, tax, fraud, healthcare, organized crime, money laundering, and Bank Secrecy Act investigations and prosecutions. In 2012, Benjamin left Baker & Hostetler and joined Adams, Stepner, Wolterman & Dusing as a partner, where he led the firm’s White Collar and Governmental Enforcement Defense practice.

 

In 2013, Dusing started BGD Legal Outsourcing, a non-law firm legal process outsourcing company that provided document-review legal support services, particularly in the areas of white-collar criminal and civil litigation, business consulting, and dispute resolution. As the leader of BGD Legal Outsourcing, he worked with in-house legal departments and outside counsel in providing cost-effective outsourcing solutions to document-intensive and process-driven legal functions.

In 2017, Dusing made partner at Faruki, Ireland, Cox, Rhinehart & Dusing, where he led the firm’s white-collar criminal practice, representing individuals and corporations in white collar criminal and regulatory investigations and prosecutions. In March of 2019, Dusing created BGD Law 2.0 or as its formal name, The Law Offices of Benjamin G. Dusing P.L.L.C., where he continues to represent clients in all matters no matter how big or small. Dusing wants to build a firm that is nothing like the traditional law firm setting. Someplace where your legal issues are addressed head on and problems are solved efficiently and exceptionally.
